Upgrade Manager - Eclipse (not Plugin's) [message #62132]

I have a quick question regarding updating the Eclipse product.

Is it possible to have the Eclipse core product updated, not to be
confused with the plug-ins, using Update Manager? I would like to select
update and have my Eclipse 3.1 milestone x be updated to milestone x+1 or
to release candidate 3.1.

Is something like this in place? Or do I still have to manually download
all the SDK's and related files and install them manually?
