please fin below the contribution RFE text posted in bugzilla

Ecore Diagram Search

Ecore modeling tools would take a major advantage in having a model search

Main reasons are :

Ecore Models complexity/size exploses
Ecore Models fragmentation over different plugins/components
Ecore Models are now synched with graphical editors

For that reasons I would like to propose an Ecore Diagram Search feature and
its initial code contribution.

This Ecore Diagram Search integration would ease Ecore
modeling/diagraming user
experience by allowing queries to be ran directly from diagrams & queries
results directly opened in diagrams. This would be a significant step toward
Ecore MDD round trip enginering technics.

Ecore Diagram Search Features:
- Open Diagram setting selection from EObject result matches
- Fileterd Selection dialog to open EClass in class diagram
- Fileterd Selection dialog to open EPackage in class diagram
- Various popup menu search contribution on EClass
(EReferences, Inheritance, ...)

* Integrated With Eclipse Search facilities

Initial Contribution

As part of the RFE I would like to propose
an initial code contribution.

This contribution is a draft, subject to rework depending on further
that topics.

These features and the coresponding code are published under Eclipse Public
