Content Assist ctr+space not working?!?! [message #61796] Sun, 08 May 2005 20:20 Go to next message

I have Eclipse 3.1 M5 and for some reason my content assist is not
working as the manual says... (Java Development user guide > Using
source code templates)...

I type 'for' press ctr+space but the "content assist" popup doesn't
appear... I know the keys for content assist are ctr+space, i checked
and never changed them...

If i type 'for' then ctr+shift+L and choose content assist from that
popup everything works as it should... I can't understand if I'm doing a
very dumb thing or what...

Why/how ctr+space doesn't work for content assist???

Thanks in advance for your help,
ATK

Problem fixed...

Something related to msn messenger / messenger plus (because this one
uses ctr+space as their shortcut to "Boss Protection", eclipse seems
like never 'receives' ctr+space...

Just disable Boss Protection in Messenger Plus or change the shortcut...
