We just performed some important changes in VE for VE 1.2. Extenders of
VE (with respect to Palette and Override files) should go to the
following link. This link contains migration instructions and
information as to what and why changes were made. It is important to
check because while the old formats will be supported for VE 1.2, when
VE 1.3 comes out they will not be supported. So it would be best to
migrate code/files when stepping up to VE 1.2.
These migrations are moving us toward API's for certain parts of VE.
There will be more coming down the pike in the future.
