Could people share the models of working in a
(distributed) team they use (Eclipse, PDT,
Subclipse).

Our problem is that the 'switch to branch'
and 'compare branches' operations of
Subclipse are extremely slow ('switch to
branch' takes about 30 min, I still test
'compare branches', but seems slow too) -
which makes our (distributed) team work quite
difficult.

We have a web application with a trunk and a
release branch. We have a release engineer
working on the release branch and developers
working on the trunk. We need -

a) An easy way for the release engineer to
see what are the differences between the
release branch and the trunk (very slow).

b) An easy way for the release engineer to
switch to the trunk, in order to be able to
help to the developers, if needed ('switch to
branch' takes 30 min at the moment, far too
slow).

Thank you all,
Iv

Found it today while looking for Subversion
