i'm currently using eclipse 3.1 (gtk) with the ve 1.1rc1 build.

i'm using it on linux with jdk 1.50_03, 1,8ghz cpu and 512 mb ram. the
speed of the ve, while adding components or moving them is _really_
slow. any ideas how to speed things up?

especially compared to netbeans 4.1, eclipse ve feels slow. are there
plans to change this or is it a configuration problem?
