A) How is/is graphical info persisted within the EMF XMI/ .uml files?

B) If it is missing/held in a separate file then has anyone given any
thought to an auto-layout engine which can make a best guess at a layout
which the user can then manually mess with & then persist?

I am thinking of the example of a .ecore where you can generate the
ecore diagram file.

i.e. were I to be given a semantically complete .uml , is there any way
of generating a class diagram, sequence diagram etc ?

TIA

Adam
