Hi there,

i noticed that with within the PDE it is only possible to extend extension points
from plug-ins that are listed in the dependencies tab under "Required Plug-Ins".

This seems to be an unecessary contraint: For my own plug-ins i want to use the "import package"
dependency instead. A simple tests shows that removing the "required plug-ins" dependency
after an extension was set up and exchanging it with an "import package" dependency works as well.

So, as far as i can see, this only a problem of the PDE editor.
Could the editor be enhanced to also support import package? Or maybe to simply show all extension
points available in the target platform and the workspace?
