Michael,

The GMF folks provide this capability, so this might ring a bell for
them. I've added that newsgroup to the list.

Hi Michael,

What version of GMF are you using? This sounds like
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=134767 which was fixed in GMF
1.0.1.

Cheers...
Anthony

I am on 2.0M1. But just looking at the download page I saw, that 1.0.1.
is younger than 2.0M1, so I guess 2.0M1 may contain new features but
maybe not all the fixes, yet. And there even is a maintenance build for
1.0.1. that is even younger.

So - esp. since I don't need any specific new features - I guess, I'll
revert to that last one, i.e. the 1.0.1 maintenance build and then try
again.

Thanks for making me aware!
Michael

Bingo! With the 1.0.1 maintenance release (dated Oct. 5th) the diagram
prints nicely filling the entire sheet as one would expect...
So that's already very usable. Thanks again!

One complaint I still have is, that while geometric figures (esp. boxes)
look nice, slanted lines and esp. all text looks rather rough and jagged
(as if originally created for a lower resolution and then scaled up).
The output obviously does not make use of the printer's actual
resolution (in my case 1200 dpi), rather it looks like this is simply
emiting and scaling up the screen output 1:1 or something similar. Is
this something one can tweak somehow or does one have to live with that?

Michael
