Hallo
i am using m2eclipse 0.9.3 with eclipse 3.3.x with quite some success
now. i encountered a 'strange' thing i am not sure if its wtp or
m2eclipse related.
i want to filter the web.xml file. this does work fine. the target
folder contains the filtered version. but when i start tomcat 6.0 it
uses the web.xml from src/main/.. and not the one in the target folder.
the server path points to the target path (option: "Use custom
location") and "Serve modules without publishing" is checked.
can anyone give me a hint on how to point wtp / tomcat to the propper
web.xml? some options are crucial for the application to run.
thanks for any input!
regards
ossi

ossi,
First, we are introducing first-class wtp integration and have made
0.9.4 dev build to preview this functionality. You can find more
information in [1]
Now back to your question. Unfortunately, m2eclipse does not support
custom location of web.xml at the moment. Can you please open an
enhancement request in m2eclipse JIRA [2] and provide sample project to
help us understand your requirements betters?
