Changed ssh host key [message #60429] |

How do I change/delete the known host key of a server in Eclipse? Due to
a server crash and lost ssh keys, the server host key is now different
than what is stored in my Eclipse install (on a Windows laptop). Now
when I try to log into my cvs via ssh, I get "Authentication error: The
server host key does not match the key previously stored.", and keeps
prompting me for a password. No matter what I type in, it will continue
to pop up that message and prompting for a password.

The solution is to do this:
a) close Eclipse
b) delete a file called known_hosts, which you will find in the
..../workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.team.cvs.ssh directory
c) restart Eclipse
