Unsatisfied dependency on interim update site [message #60345] Fri, 17 July 2009 15:53 Go to next message

Hi guys,

I'm getting an issue with latest update..I've installed latest MWE from
their udpate site, but now from
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/updates/interim/ I'm getting:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could
not be found.
Software being installed: Xtext Runtime (Incubation)
0.7.1.v200907171014 (org.eclipse.xtext.runtime.feature.group
0.7.1.v200907171014)
Missing requirement: Xtext Generator (Incubation) 0.7.1.v200907171014
(org.eclipse.xtext.generator 0.7.1.v200907171014) requires 'bundle
org.eclipse.xtend.util.stdlib 0.7.1' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: Xtext Runtime (Incubation) 0.7.1.v200907171014
(org.eclipse.xtext.runtime.feature.group 0.7.1.v200907171014)
To: org.eclipse.xtext.generator [0.7.1.v200907171014]

true, Xtext 0.7.1 depends on MEW 0.7.1 and Xpand 0.7.1, so you will have
to add their update sites as well.

The most convenient way, however, is, to use the update site
http://download.itemis.com/updates/, since it composes the three
mentioned update sites and furthermore provides the antlr generator feature.

http://download.itemis.com/updates/ delegates to
http://download.itemis.com/updates/releases/
http://download.itemis.com/updates/milestones/ exists as well.

hth,
Moritz

Nice. :) (though I am trying to avoid any non Eclipse update sites
whenever possible for my user's sake, but this isn't an issue right
now.)

But no interim, correct?
