Publication [message #5357] Mon, 10 April 2006 13:52 Go to next message

Hi,

Ive been trying to figure out how the Composer works and now I want to
Publish the information. However the framesets exhibit errors such as

Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Documents and
Settings/anderst/EPF/Publish/spscreen.htm.

Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Documents and
Settings/anderst/EPF/Publish/applet/myruptree.htm.

Is there a setting I can use to fix this or is this a commonly know deficit?

thanks
/anders

Thanks for finding this. There is a problem in publishing with the
I20060407 build. This build had a lot of changes merged in. You should
try working with the 1.0-M1 build for now. It is stable and publishing
works well. The 1.0-M2 build is scheduled for release around the end of
this week.

I opened a Bugzilla record on this one:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=135926

ok, but I rather like the new features ;)

Is it possible to checkout the source and build the latest code by myself?

You can do this yourself. In fact, the publishing problem you
experienced has been fixed in the HEAD revision of the source and will
be included in the next integration build.

You can find all the information you need to configure your environment,
get a copy of the source through anonymous CVS, and build and run here:

http://www.eclipse.org/epf/composer_dev_guide/

Open one of the beacon-XX.product files for your platform found in the
org.eclipse.epf.rcp project. There is an option to start the product
export wizard to build and package a zip. This step isn't in the guide yet.

Thanks!

I will check the latest integration build to see if the problem is still
in there, and if so, open a defect in Bugzilla on this.

Thanks.
