ignoring custom tags [message #59963] Tue, 30 October 2007 05:55

Hi,

We're using our own home brewed custom tags in our projects to give our
sites multi-lingual support. They look like this:

%FIRSTNAME%

This would be replaced with for example "First Name" on a sign up page and
is embedded in all our PHP code. We then run the PHP files through a
pre-processor that replaces the language tags with the language text
before copying them into the web root.

We are interested in using eclipse with its "Report problems as you type"
feature, but it obviously reports our language tags as problems too.

Can anyone suggest a way around this problem?

Thanks
Nigel
