I have a fresh install of SuSE 8.1 and Sun JDK on my laptop as well as a
fresh install of eclipse IDE 2.1. It all went really smoothly but when I
start eclipse I get the IDE with no text in the menus and a large blank
error box. Strange things is, everything (if File->Exit path could be called
everything) actually works. Almost as if the fonts are missing or are not
configured properly for display. Did anyone have a similar issue or does
anyone know how to resolve it?
