Installing VE 1.0M2 and VE 1.0.1 RC2 on E3,EMF 2.0.1 and GEF 3.0.0 [message #59840] Tue, 14 September 2004 05:34 Go to next message

First I've try to install VE 1.0M2. The installation ended properly, the
"Manage Configuration"-Dialog show it. But there wasn't the new option
for creating a Visual Class, when I right-click the project name in the
Package Explorer and select New from the context menu in a java project.
Then I 've installed the VE 1.0.1 RC2. The installation also ended
properly, but same behavior.
I use Eclpise 3.0.0 Build id: 200405211200,
EMF 2.0.1
GEF 3.0.0

What's wrong ?

That's way too old of an Eclipse. The levels that a VE build works with
for Eclipse, GEF, and EMF are listed right on the download page. Please
try to use the drivers listed.

Thank you, I've installed E3 Build id: 200406251208 and now I can see
the option "New > Visual Class"!
