Hey all,
So, I want to use Eclipse to work with an existing code base that
started as a Visual Studio project. I'm tool lazy to maintain makefiles
myself, so I was hoping to Eclipse would do it all for me. According to
all the sites I've googled, this can be done with a "Managed C++
Project". However, apparently, I don't have that option with my install
of Eclipse. When I go to the "File | New" menu, the choices I get are "C
project" and "C++ project", but nothing about "Standard" or "Managed"
projects.
I installed the newest Eclipse with CDT included with it
(eclipse-cpp-europa-fall2-win32.zip). I even updated to the newest CDT,
via the "Help | Software Updates" menu. Nada. So, am I going mad, or am
I missing something?
Thanks.
Dave
