Looking a EPF, I can see great potential in leveraging the general
technology framework for creating a more generic (general purpose) Eclipse
based CMS solution. Just checked out the UMA packages and it seems much of
the code related to the UMA model could be generated from the model
itself, using a framework such as OAW 4.3.

How much the rest of the code is dependant on the specific classes for the
model is another question, but in theory I think it should be possible to
make convert EPF into a simpler form (fx Documents Referencing Documents
within Packages?) or other more specialized CMS needs...

One could also leverage the OAW Eclipse editor plugin framework to provide
other means of editing the underlying EPF EMF (xmi) model ;)

Cheers!
