hi,

i have tried many things to get an example from O'Reilly's Java Servlet
Programming book to work. This example (the guestbook in chapter three)
inherits from a few classes that you can download from oreilly.com. I
downloaded them, then added the jar as an external jar file to the build
path, made sure it was before my project on the build path, at one point
had it set up as a required project. nothing worked. so i deleted those
classes, and the guestbook class, and STILL get the error message
that the classpath is incomplete, 'java.lang.object classfile can't
be found' and this is about HELLO WORLD. all of a sudden HELLO WORLD (but
no other classes) is a big problem. i'm obviously up a creek. i'm using
tomcat with the sysdeo plugin, just installed these things within the last
few months, they seem to be working together fine.

i really DON'T WANT to have to uninstall eclipse in order to get rid of
these problems.
