Hello, I'm new with RAP, Does anybody know any book about RAP ? I'm
using the code examples to learn how to develop my own applications, but
It isn't the best way to learn, I think so.

Articles and other stuff will be welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Roberto .

Hi Roberto,

There is no RAP book available (yet). Depending on your background with
SWT and RCP it may be worthwhile to get the books from Steve Northover,
Mike Wilson on SWT and the book from Jeff McAffer, Jean-Michel Lemieux
on RCP. However, there is still a lot of API that we do not offer right
now and some that we will never cover
(http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/RapPlan gives an overview)

Some useful info can be found in the RAP tutorial:

http://eclipsezilla.eclipsecon.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3641 (see attachments
for slides and demo projects)

For getting started in RWT you may want to have a look at this article
(and the helloworld from above):

http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-Understanding-Layout s/Understanding-Layouts.htm

Cheers,

Jochen

Thank you Jochen, It's sufficient to begin (I hope ;-)) I have something
of experience with RCP, but not too much :-(, I know that RAP It's very
similar to RCP but I had doubts about the way to follow to learn it (RAP)

Cheers
Roberto
