Viewing XSD files using the XSD Editor [message #585840]

I'm new to Eclipse and would like to use it for XSD editing. I have only
managed to create normal projects where the editors are regular text
editors for xsd files.

How do I make sure that my xsd plugin is registered and then how do I use
the xsd editor. I installed from eclipse-SDK-2.0.2-win32.zip and then
unzipped the xsd and emf plugins. And then opened Eclipse.

If all this is in the documentation then I would be very happy to be
pointed to the correct chapter.
