Can't build helloworld.java on eclipse 3.02 [message #59112]

Hi:
Sorry if I submitted this twice.

I just installed 3.0.2 Build id: 200503110845 and when I try to run a
simple helloworld.java program nothing gets compiled into the bin
directory. When I open the same project in 3.0 it compiles and runs
fine. What needs to be set so build actually works and compiles the
programs?
