How to delete Target Provisioner [message #584036]

The Target Platform Preferences page has an Add button allowing you to add
additional plugins from another directory to the target platform via a
File System Target Provisioner.

Unfortunately, there is no Remove button. Even when I delete the directory
and restart Eclipse, the additional plugins remain in the Target platform,
now marked with an error icon.

How to get rid of them again?
