Hello,
I'm quite new to EPF and I would like to thanks all the team for having
developped this great application which can be used not only for
defining methods but actually everything with a process.
But nothing is perfect in any world, especially for non english native
speakers :) The overall concepts are clear, the documentation abundant,
but the definitions often unlit, or sometimes untranslatable directly in
french (my language). To have a better understanding of the true
meanings of the concepts, it is quite necessary to dive into the method
examples (scrum, openUp, ...).
I then discovered what where the views in the generated web site, and
what were the possible inputs to define some. I also discovered the true
difference (and maybe it it is not yet clear for me) between a contant
package, a standard package and custom package.
But some definitions ar still unlit like :
* Disciplines
* Domains
* Work products
* Role sets
* Stakeholders
* ...
these vocabularies can be translated in french in many ways, and doesn't
helmp to have a fine understanding of the concepts. Generally, I found
the definitions :
* not always precise
* not well illustrated by an example
I would like to know the feeling of other peoples who discover EPFC.
I have also another question : do you know if there is a mean to
generate a word document instead of an entire web site?
regards
Xavioer
