Do we need different update sites for Windows and MacOSX? [message #58882] |

Dear All,
I am building update websites for windows, macosx and linux plug-ins. In
the feature definition, we have os specific fragment plug-ins. For example:
org.eclipse.core.filesystem.macosx
org.eclipse.core.filesystem.win32.x86
But, when I click "Build All" in update site project, it only builds and
copy win32 plug-ins. All non-win32 plug-ins are left out. Is there any
further setting to make it works? Or do you need different update sites
for Windows and MacOS X?
Thank you so much! Have a nice day!
Best Regards,
Frank Du

You've hit this issue:
196556: [Update Site Editor]Building feature from site.xml editor does
not build fragments
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=196556
Is there a reason you don't have a headless build going where this isn't
an issue ;)?
