I have a problem installing / using (understanding?) a CDT plugin for
Eclipse (ver.: 2.0.2 build id: 200211071448).

I dowlnoaded CDT plugin (stable build: 2003/01/08, for use with R2.0.2,
1.0.1 F2 - Windows), filename:
org.eclipse.cdt-200301080308-win32_1.0.1.bin.dist.zip and unzipped it into
Eclipse directory. Started Eclipse, and I can see CDT plugin listed under
Current Configuration in Update Manager). There is, however, an x sign over
it's icon and the status details reveal, that:
Plugin "org.eclipse.cdt.win32" version "1.0.1" referenced by this feature is
missing
Included feature "org.eclipse.cdt_1.0.1" is missing.

So I cannot build C. What do I have to do to enable it?

I had the same problem on WinNT.
I couldn't solve it.
Simply downloaded the extension, and copied files in features and plugins.
It seems the feature is causing problems, plugins installed correctly.

change the build, and/or do not install the feature/ subdir., only the

I have the same problem; also using Eclipse 2.0.2 build 200211071448,
and CDT 1.0.1 GA - Windows. Has anybody made a bug report of this already?
