"Convert to MIDLet project" hangs [message #571615] Fri, 27 February 2009 08:09

Hello,

As suggested I try to move from JavaME to Mobile Tools for Java. This
seem to entail that I have to re-convert all my existing projects :-(.

I could probably live with this one time effort - however the convention
process hangs - that is: displays it "Converting..." Dialogue and stays
there forever. You can't even abort the process.

Any ideas? Please don't tell me I have to recreate all the project! They
are in subversion and recreating them without loosing the history would
be beyond painful.

Martin

PS: Unrelated but it still has to be said: It seems that about buttons
never ever work in eclipse. All that happens on clicking any about
button is that the button is disables so it can't be pressed a second
time. But that is probably because Sun in there great wisdom did not
supply a mechanism to forcefully stop a thread.
