Initializing Java Tooling never completes [message #568564]

I downloaded e4 yesterday, and I ran the demos.

Today when I start e4, there is a progress window at the bottom of the display that never completes. It displays the message, "Initializing Java Tooling". Maybe it was there yesterday, but I do not remember seeing it.

Is that just an artifact of development, or is there something I have done wrong?

Can I still do some development testing with e4 with this error condition?
