Riddle offers a command-line interface for the Eclipse IDE and most JDT and PDE actions. It features:
A comprehensive set of commands
Short aliases (standard and user-defined)
Shell-style Tab completion
Wildcards
Command history
An extension point for user-defined commands
These build on one another for a quick control of the IDE without reaching for the mouse. They combine well with standard shortcuts and accelerators.
An online User Guide includes a tutorial, command summary, reference, and details on how to use the extension point and support classes. The Command API is public and documented to make possible the programmatic execution of commands.
