So I was a little surprised, when I saw the screeny of GVID on the
geclipse-site. In my earlier researches I was not able to find any
Project in Eclipse-Ecosystem using VTK.

What are your experiences with VTK, which way did you integrate the
RenderWindow and (if somebody is using Linux) did you get this annoying
"Xlib: unexpected async reply..."-Error?!?

Maybe all this is a little bit off topic, but I was so glad to found
some "companion in misfortune" ;-)
