Hi people. I'm working in a sequence diagram and I need a node with compartments looks "transparent" when it is over a lifeline wich can contains messages so I can allow the creation of these elements when the node is in the front. Any ideas about how can i solve the problem?... Thanks in advance!

Search for topics related to Z-order of graphical elements in gmf.
If your lifeline (well, not yours, but the one in your editor:) ) is on the "upper" layer, you wouldn't need your compartment to be transparent.
The Z-order is defined by the container element (may be the canvas).

I have done this: http:// www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=174194&sta rt=0&S=3e66202ccc717c2dad8f0fbe1209334b, but the problem is that the user want to mantain the node over the lifeline all the time. Maybe exists another approach like a property or something similar to "transparent" a node or compartment. If someone knows about this, it will be welcome!- Regards

Fernando
