An old version of papyrus project had the add-ins with the code generators including java generator.

How can we generate java code from the UML class diagram?

Do the papyrus have an technology to reengineer java code to papyrus UML class diagram?

Do the papyrus team have in plans such both engineer / reengineer methods?

We have plugins to generate Java code and to reverse Java code.
These plugins are experimentals, and can/should be improved. But they
work well for our purpose (reverse Papyrus, generate class skeletons),
and I suppose they should also work for you.

They are available in the Papyrus svn and also as an update site
svn:
-
svn+ssh://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/modeling/org.eclipse.mdt.papyrus/trunk/extraplugins/java
updatesite:

Hope this help,
Cedric
