Authoritative Ecore metamodel definition? [message #554504] Mon, 23 August 2010 08:40 Go to next message

Where can I find Ecore's definition? Here are the only two - incomplete - sources that I've found.

http:// help.eclipse.org/ganymede/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.emf.d oc/references/overview/EMF.html provides the "complete class hierarchy". This hierarchy is (by definition) missing associations between classes.

"EMF - Eclipse Modeling Framework, Second Edition" only gives "simplified subsets of the Ecore metamodel" (for instance on page 17).

I'm quite surprised that, as it seems, there is no complete overview given yet.
Cheers,
Abdull

Abdull,

The Javadoc has all the diagrams
< http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/emf/javadoc/2.6.0/o rg/eclipse/emf/ecore/package-summary.html>

http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/emf/javadoc/2.6.0/o rg/eclipse/emf/ecore/package-summary.html

The refcard is pretty nice too.
