Great news.

UMLX is an alternative(hopefully better) graphical notation for QVTrelation.
It currently has an EMF/GEF-based editor that needs upgrading to exploit GMF.

At present I'm struggling to use XSLT (or rather NiceXSL) to transform,
UMLX -> QVTrelation -> ATL, with a view to implementing QVTrelation->QVTcore
in UMLX and so in ATL, which would solve the problem of fielding QVTrelation
anywhere that there is a QVTcore executor.

Any idea on timescales for this project, since I would very much like to
align my activities to exploit/contribute to it? UMLX is just me in my spare
time so I certainly don't want to waste time duplicating what is being done
better elsewhere.

Regards

Ed Willink

Hello Ed,

Thank you for your interest.

I do not have a good idea at what point in time we can deliver a working
QVTcore executor as part of this project. When plans are clearer we will
post them here.

First we need to gather contributors and work together to get this proposed
project going.

Regards,

-Peter.
