Hi:

I want to upgrade the org.eclipse.osgi in virgo/lib to 3.6.0, so I can use osgi 4.2 spec api, but I don't know how to do this.

And Is there any plan?

thx!

We expect this to be non-trivial, so it doesn't currently fit in our plan.

However, we are not expecting any major issues, so this is something that could be worked on by a non-committer and contributed as a patch. If you are interested, please raise a bugzilla and join us on virgo-dev to talk about how to approach the work.

In particular, the nested framework prototype in Equinox 3.5.1 is apparently still available in Equinox 3.6, so Virgo will be able to continue to use the prototype and avoid some major rework.
