An internal error occurred during: "Launching" [message #550324] Thu, 29 July 2010 18:49
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I'm new to eclipse and this will probably seem like a silly problem but I can't get a helloworld C program to run.

It builds without errors.
It creates a working executable in [workspace]/Debug/helloworld
but when I hit the run button I get cryptic message :
An internal error occurred during: "Launching"

There are a lot of posts about this but I haven't been able to solve it.
The following post hints that I need something in the run > run dialog box
http://forums.dzone.com/eclipse/451-eclipse-cdt-internal-err or-occurred-during-launching.html

I just don't know what. Eclipse knows already its a C program and compiles
it with gcc what else could it need?

Any help greatly appreciated.
i have the same issue with the java version of hello world...
