Exception when combining gmftool, gmfgraph and ecore files to gmfmap [message #550293]

Hello,

When I try combining the gmftool, gmfgraph and ecore files on the dashboard to a gmfmap file, I get the following error message:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.eclipse.gmf.internal.bridge.wizards.pages.GraphDefLookup .findSuitableNode(GraphDefLookup.java:58)
at org.eclipse.gmf.internal.bridge.wizards.pages.MapDefFeeder.n odesFrom(MapDefFeeder.java:124)
at org.eclipse.gmf.internal.bridge.wizards.pages.MapDefFeeder.f eedDefaultMapping(MapDefFeeder.java:77)
at org.eclipse.gmf.internal.bridge.wizards.pages.WizardInput.fe edDefaultMapping(WizardInput.java:121)
at org.eclipse.gmf.internal.bridge.wizards.GMFMapGuideModelWiza rd$5.update(GMFMapGuideModelWizard.java:134)
at java.util.Observable.notifyObservers(Observable.java:142)
...

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Hello,

Have you try to validate each gmf file ? Maybe one of them have an error.

You need openning the gmfgraph and the gmftool file, and on the tree view, make a right click and select Validate.

The validation will show errors.
