XML to xmi that confirms a metamodel ??? [message #547416] Fri, 16 July 2010 13:02 Go to next message

Hi all,

I have created a metamodel of wscdl in ecore which I want to transform to WSBPEL. I already created metamodel for wsbpel also and developed the transformation in Atlas Transformation Language (ATL) also.

My problem is now, the wscdl file is in xml file format and my metamodel only accepts the XMI file that conforms to metamodel of wscdl. Is there any tool or mechanism through which I can convert the xml file to xmi that conforms to the metamodel?. Currently I am using the editor genarated from the metamodle. genmodel and export the editor in xmi which is time consuming and does not contribute in automation. Similar is the case with other side. My out put file of tranformation is in XMI file and I need to convert it into bepl file.

How can we achieve this though any tool?

Thanks in advance

You can inject your XML textual file into a corresponding EMF model.
