Dear All,
Meeting JSR-310 Spec Lead Stephen Colebourne yesterday brought another very
interesting language to my knowledge, where Units of Measure are built into
the system:
Fantom (www.fantom.org) is an OO language, statically-typed like Java with
the aim of running both on a JVM and .NET CLR. Which makes it very
interesting, especially for UCUM and the Units API underneath UOMo.
Here's its Unit base type documented:
http://fantom.org/doc/sys/Unit.html
Feel free to post in this threads with ideas regarding either using this
language with UCUM or how UOMo could profit from ideas realized in the
Fantom language.
Thanks,
Werner
