Hi friends
We have a win2k3 server which hosts our project files with a couple of
Linux (Fedora and Ubuntu) and couple of WinXP development machines using
PDT .
In win machines, each machine uses a Network Drive (z:) to point to the
server share (d:\webdev\wwwdocs - where actual files lie) and then this
network drive is used as a target for Linked Resources in PDT.
Everything is good (including synchronization)
In Linux machines, I mount the server share (using fstabs and CIFS) and
used this mount point (/webdev/wwwdocs) as a target for Linked Resources
in PDT. Everything is good except that *very* often I receive various
messages indicating files in workspace are out of sync with their actual
copies.
Any idea?
Sorry if no additional info is provided, tried to make it short. But if
it helps, I will gladly give more detailed information.
Thanks in advance.
