Hi,
after downloading and add all wanted features, I miss the EMF references
topic inside eclipse help and also I doesn't find the complete EMF
Developer Guide inside the Online HelpCenter Documentation) of Helios.

Where is it?

Greetings
Heiko

Heiko,

The Reference topic has been removed from the EMF help as of this
release, since it's essentially redundant - if you have the SDK
installed, you have the source and can view the Javadoc in the Javadoc
view, and the Javadoc is also available online at
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/emf/javadoc/2.6.0/

You're right that the info center didn't contain the EMF documentation;
it does now. ;)

HI Kenn,
thanks for your quick answer and fix inside the help center.
But after playing around some hours with Javadoc View, I have to say:
For me is the extra api java doc inside the help center inside eclipse
not useless, or I'm to stuppid to use the view n the right way. :(

At normal work I have most time open the help center in the external
browser on my second screen, so I can simply search the java docs for
helpfull classes inside the packages, particular
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.util or org.eclipse.emf.common.util
or org.eclipse.emf.databinding.
All this packages I reached inside the old api docs with some simple
clicks and scrolls, if I searched for functions of usefull helper
classes. :(

Yes it is possible for many people, who like these java docs, to use
the java docs from your link, but also it exits persons like me, which
dont have internet on the working pc. :(

At the moment, I think my best way will be, to genrerate the java docs
myself, to store it on my pc.

But I still hope, they will come back in a later release.

Greetings
Heiko
