I suspect there is something wrong with my GEF/Draw2D installation. I am using Mac (snow leopard). I installed GEF + Draw2D SDK. I exported the shapes plugin from the project and installed this. When I create a new shapes diagram, it opens up a blank editor with absolutely nothing in it. Has anyone hit this problem ? Is this related to 64 bit JVM issue?

The document is supposed to be empty. Do you have a (collapsed) palette on the right of the Editor Window? If so, you should be able to use the tools there to draw some basic stuff.
