Dear Xpand Gurus,
maybe better: dear Latex Gurus in the lines of Xpand users,
we have the weird idea to do some publications in *Latex* which display
Xpand listings using the lstlistings package.
Due to multiple reasons definition of a proper syntax highlighting in
Latex is rather difficult. The reasons are below.
Does anybody has a language/style definition for Xpand that does proper
rendering of Xpand files for lstlistings?
And please: comments like "don't use latex" or "do a screenshot" are of
little help. As I hear from Latex people: "don't use such a strange
language like Xpand!" :-)
Problems:
* Guillemots are not supported in UTF8 in lstlistings (workarounds:
use escape char or lstinputlisting with latin1 encoding)
* Generated Code-Strings like C or Java Code is displayed in
Sring-Color. However, it's difficult to specify "everything except Xpand
tags" as String in lstlistings.
* If the point above is not solvable, it's difficult to distinguish
between keywords in Xtend and the target language like "if", "else",
"switch"...
Any insights?
Cheers,
Hauke
