[ATL] I can't find the button "Inject KM3 to Ecore metamodel" [message #536653] Sat, 29 May 2010 06:17 Go to next message

Hello all

I am doing my Master Thesis about M2M transformation and I will do it with ATL. I started to read the "ATL Starter Guide.pdf" and try to do it actively in Eclipse nearby.
I wrote now my first *.km3 file and tried to press the "Inject KM3 to Ecore metamodel" button. The problem is that this button is not available. Do you have any clue how I can get this button?

I am using the Galileo version of Eclipse, with the additional "Eclipse Modeling Project" Package. Thanks for your help.

Cheers Roger

Hello,

The KM3 was the way to write the metamodels in the older versions of Eclipse, with the newer version all you have to do is to design it with the new ecore graphical design ...and then make your transformation with *.ecore meta model ...

Hope I helped !

Hi

If you like editing meta-models textually, the new OCLinEcore Xtext
editor supports direct textual editing of a *.ecore file including
support for embedded OCL class invariants, property derivations, and
operation bodies.

See the OCLinEcore tutorial in the Helios OCL Documentation.
