Hi,
trying to run epf on Fedora 9 ends in epf consuming all available memory
and causing the system to hang. I have followed the Linux Installation
Instructions (having compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-63.i386 instead of
compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.i386.rpm and pointing MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to
/usr/lib/firefox-3.0.2) but no good. I am using
java version "1.6.0"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b09)
OpenJDK Client VM (build 1.6.0-b09, mixed mode)
Independently of the above, I was wondering why one cannot install EPF as
an eclipse plug-in similar to all other eclipse plug-ins?
Thanks,
Firas.

EPF is not supported on JDK1.6. Please make sure you have these system
requirements
# Red Hat Enteprise Linux, SUSE Enterprise Linux, and possibly others
Mozilla or Firefox
# Java Runtime Environment 1.5
Not sure about Fedora linux as well but you can give it a try if
Mozilla/Firefox version match, then it will work.
