Wind River Systems, an Intel subsidiary, has an exciting opportunity for an Embedded development tools engineer. If you are passionate about enabling the development of microprocessor based devices that people now use everyday this is a great opportunity to join a company with significant growth and the leader in Device Software market. You will be part of an international team developing the core technology behind the Workbench debugger.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Wind River Workbench debugger Eclipse based Graphical User Interface
- Develop Eclipse views for OCD based tracing
- Work closely with debugger backend end engineers and On chip debug engineers to build the best debugger on the market for our customers
- Provide expertise to customer support organization and sometimes interact directly with customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of development experience
- Strong Java and Eclipse development skills
- Skilled in workflow oriented user interface
- Visual C++ and/or Unix host development environment
- Some practical C and C++ experience
- Knowlegde of the embedded processor and tools
- Proven ability to work across many technology areas, act proactively and own a problem
- Strong defect analysis and fixing skill
- Education: Bachelor's degree
