Hello, (sorry for my poor english)
I'm working in an editor with GMF and i'm new on it. I have a problem that i should solve as soon as possible!!!
SO, here is the situation:
I have a diagram which contains an element "components" , when i double click on it, another diagram should be open in which is initialized some elements :" activities", "roles", ...

The double click works, and when i was working on the sub-diagram only, elements are initialized without problem.
But when i link between the two diagrams, elements "activites, roles".. are not initialized when i double click !!

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA??

HELP, PLEASEEEE

Thanks Sad

Hi hejer,

I am not very clear about the problem.

Do you mean the sub diagram is not opening on double clicking the node?

If yes ,Please check the following,

In the .gmfgen of the sub diagram,
-have you changed the ModelID,ID,unique Editor ID

Also in the .gmfgen of the main diagram,
- added the Opendiagram behaviour's Diagram Kind with model ID of the subdiagram
- added the Opendiagram behaviour's Editor ID with unique Editor ID of the subdiagram.
- Modified the Edit Policy Class Namewith unique name.

No,
The diagram is opening when i double click. But i need this diagram to be initialized by default with some elements.

It is difficult to answer the question like that. I suggest that you put break point and debug your application to see why the initialization didn't happen

The problem might be the same as some other people reports for opening
diagrams the first time. A solution is mentioned within the thread too.
