I am very frustrated and I need help [message #533292]

I have been working trying to get eclipse with java installed on my computer for many hours. eclipse cannot find my virtual machine until i copy paste it into the eclipse directory. It was giving me some message about returning -1 on some function. Now it simply wont find the virtual machine. I have no idea what to do about it because all I want to do is install the program and get it working. Help?

eclipse should pick up the jvm on the path. Look at http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini for instructions to specify the jvm.
Please also give the error message you are running into.

Okay I changed the .ini and it works. whenever i try to change the workspace by clicking browse, eclipse closes. How do I fix that?

itself.

But change workspaces within Eclipse requires Eclipse to close and
reopen on the other workspace.
