I have a requirement where I need to lead a user through a number of data
entry sections.

I have an RCP app, with a main editor, which is implemented as an Eclipse
form.

Once data is validated, I want a new section to appear under the existing
section.

I was thinking about using expandable Sections, but was wondering if there
was some other style I could use?

I think you are on the right path. There has been many eclipse dialogs
using similar functionality. You might use Spy plugin (Alt+Shift+F1) to
see the implementation of those dialogs and verify the behavior.
Anyway, the right place where this question can be best answered is
eclipse.platform or eclipse.platform.jface. So, please cross post this
question at those forums.
