Hi,

is it possible to define Label Mapping in GMF (for Link Mapping) for non-simple type (string), e.g., for some class?

hi

I would like to push this old story as I have a similar 'problem'. Is it possible to use a referenced object (non-primitive, custom object) as label (or rather one of its attributes)?

e.g.,
Class NodeGtw references to one Node object which can be used by other NodeGtws as well. Node has one value and that's the name. I would like to show the name above the NodeGtw as the NodeGtw is a placeholder of a Node, adding some additional attributes/references.

I have experimented with GMF, but it did not work.

any hints? or is is just not possible?
thx for your help!

kr,
Patrick

Hi,

sorry that I didn't get to answer earlier. I wrote an example about this feature and blogged about it last night: GMF: Labels With Values Of Referenced Model Elements. Hopefully this is helping you.
